Check-In — Admissions desk, before each race
Staff Check-In Workflow
- Ask the rider which race(s) they registered for. Open a tab per race.
- Type a few letters of the last name in the search box. Single match auto-advances.
- Verify sidebar info: name, DOB, contest, auto age group — matches what the rider expects?
- Enter the pre-printed bib number the rider is holding (or confirm the existing one).
- If the rider is on an e-bike, change Age Group to Open E-Bike Male / Female.
- Tap Finish. Time stamp is saved automatically. Search resets for the next rider.
Announcer — iPhone / laptop at the finish line
Announcer Workflow
- Open the announcer link for the race currently running.
- Tap Start Fullscreen Mode (countdown auto-enters after 5 seconds).
- Swipe to the LIVE tab — new finishers appear at top as they cross the line.
- Overview tab shows how many riders have started vs. finished per contest.
- Results tab shows top-5 by gender as they lock in.

Edit Rider Data — typo / DOB / category corrections
Roster reference
Need to print a quick-reference of who's registered for what? Open the roster report → — auto-flagged DOB mismatches and possible name typos so you know where to focus during check-in. Print directly from the browser; CSS is print-friendly.
Tip: regenerate the roster on the morning of race day with python3 scripts/build_roster_report.py and refresh.
Race Pass / Paid sync
The check-in kiosk shows a green PAID banner for riders who bought the Race Pass at the POS, and a red NO PASS warning for everyone else. Open the paid-issues report → — lists POS buyers who haven't registered + RR registrants who haven't paid, so you can chase them down before race day.
Sync runs hourly during race week and every 5 min on race-day morning. To force a sync now: ssh [email protected] sudo systemctl start spsv-paid-sync.
Trifecta & Awards — after the final race
DNF / Status
- A rider started but didn't finish? Open the SkyPark DNF kiosk for their race (links in the Check-In section above — same pattern, different URL).
- Search by last name, confirm the rider, set Status = 3 (DNF), tap Finish.
- Their result is excluded from the leaderboard but retained in the archive CSV.
Finish-Line TV Setup
- Boot the TV's browser. Load the race that just started from the three links above.
- Tap Start Fullscreen Mode — page auto-scrolls through finishers.
- After each race finishes, switch the TV to the next race's results link.
- Racers can scan the same link (or a printed QR code) on their phones to see their time.
